The first
visit to our office gives the patient, Doctor and staff a relaxed
chance to meet each other. We complete a thorough examination
including x-rays, head & neck exam, oral cancer screening,
intra and extra oral exam, PH test, periodontal screening, and
intraoral pictures (and cleaning if requested). We have intra
oral cameras so that patients can view their dental condition.
At the
second visit we discuss the patients long and short-term dental
goals and develop together a treatment plan to accomplish the
end result.
We will
discuss treatment options including time involved, appearance,
medications, dental materials, cost of treatment, financing
and any other relative patient concerns.
Once we
have agreed on a course of treatment, we will quickly begin
treatment. We believe dentistry should be a pleasant and comfortable
experience. We offer stereo headphones, massage pads for our
dental chairs, silk eye pillows, warm blankets, "laughing
gas" and other prescription premedication. Then our patients
enjoy fresh baked cookies when we are done.
